An Evidence-Graded System

Every peptide profile is assigned an evidence grade so you can see at a glance how much human clinical support exists before reading further.

Evidence: A

Strong human clinical evidence, often within an approved indication.

Evidence: B

Meaningful human clinical trial evidence; approval or long-term data may still be pending.

Evidence: C

Mixed or limited human evidence; largely clinic or early-stage context.

Evidence: D

Mostly preclinical or anecdotal; human outcome data is limited.

Evidence: E

Minimal controlled evidence of any kind; primarily community/anecdotal interest.

The grade evaluates the evidence supporting the specific category or claim. Evidence strength can differ by indication or research question, which is why some profiles show more than one grade. How MitoCore grades evidence →

Phase 3 ESSENCE Trial Finds Semaglutide Improves Liver Histology in MASH With Fibrosis

This is the first large Phase 3 trial to report semaglutide's effect on liver biopsy outcomes in MASH specifically, rather than on weight or glycemic measures. It moves semaglutide's evidence base for a liver-specific indication from smaller Phase 2 data into a large, randomized, biopsy-confirmed Phase 3 setting -- a materially stronger form of evidence than the Phase 2 trials this compound was previously evaluated on for this indication.

FDA Advisory Panel Narrowly Votes to Recommend BPC-157 for Compounding Access

This is a regulatory-access development, not a scientific or safety finding. A PCAC recommendation determines whether compounding pharmacies may legally prepare a substance -- it is not an FDA approval, and it does not itself establish that BPC-157 is safe or effective for any human use. The vote is advisory only; the FDA is not bound by it and must still issue its own final decision.

Retatrutide TRIUMPH-4 Topline Results Report 28.7% Average Weight Loss in Obesity With Knee Osteoarthritis

TRIUMPH-4 is one of eight pivotal Phase 3 trials in Lilly's TRIUMPH program for retatrutide. This readout is notable both for the reported magnitude of weight loss and because it is the first retatrutide Phase 3 trial to report a musculoskeletal/pain outcome (knee osteoarthritis symptoms) alongside weight loss, rather than a purely metabolic or weight endpoint.

Safety-First by Design

MitoCore is built to educate, not to prescribe, sell, or promote. Safety context sits alongside every research summary.

Read Safety & Quality
  • Every dosing reference is labeled as Study / Trial Dosing or Anecdotal Reported Patterns — never as a recommendation.
  • Negative findings and safety signals are documented alongside benefits being studied, not hidden.
  • Regulatory status is stated plainly, including investigational and non-approved compounds.
  • Community reports, when enabled, will appear only as moderated, anonymized, aggregated data.

Help Build a Safer Peptide Knowledge Base

Share anonymous experience data about peptide use, reported dosing patterns, duration, perceived benefits, side effects, stacks, and tracked labs. Community reports are anecdotal and not medical advice.

You can preview the community experience questionnaire now, but this is a front-end preview only — no real submissions are stored yet, and nothing here is medical advice.
